Giant Alligator is real?!
The Internet is having an understandably difficult time deciding if the video of an alleged sixteen-foot alligator casually strolling across the Buffalo Creek Golf Course outside of St. Petersburg, Florida is real or some sort of CGI hoax.

The footage would sit right in the sweet spot of a Venn diagram of the web’s two biggest tropes — crazy, unbelievable stuff happening in Florida, and crazy, unbelievable stuff online that turns out to be fake.
You can check it out for yourself below, but all indications are at this point that this reptile is real.
Pro shop employees who work at the course told local media that the gator frequents the course without bothering anyone and is even sort of thought of as a mascot.
In this case, Florida is crazier than the Internet’s penchant for making stuff up. Gators aren’t exactly unheard of in the region after all – other huge specimens have been spotted over and over on different golf courses as well. Read more from Forbes.
