Greek Salad and Cookie ?– We all have dreams of imaginary foods we’ve craved. Here’s one such dream….
It’s called the “King’s Hand.” This, of course, has gone viral.

Everyone has some sort of imaginary food they’ve craved, even if they’ve never actually had it before. For me, it just so happens to be anything from the Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory (the 1971 version, of course), but for others, the most enticing food appears in their own dreams. At least, that’s the story of what happened with one Twitter user who dreamed up a cookie-and-salad combo that looked so good in their dream that they made it in real life.
“I had a dream where there was a food called ‘King’s Hand’, a hollow hand made of m&m cookie, filled with Greek salad. I could not stop thinking about it. Here is the culmination of a week long effort,” they wrote in a tweet that now has over 138,000 likes and 13,000 retweets (and counting). The post included a photo set of the finished product and a cross section of the cookie and salad concoction.
@Thatfrood then followed up with four additional tweets that showed the step-by-step tutorial for making the “King’s Hand” that first started with the time consuming process of making a hand-shaped mold for the cookies from scratch. Like many seemingly insane things on the internet, this post inspired other Twitter users to share the foods that have appeared in their own dreams.
Some of them made complete sense—like earl grey hot cocoa and chamomile coffee—but most people were so caught up in the creative absurdity of the “King’s Hand” that they had quite a few follow up questions.
“Can you fill a King’s Hand with other substances?” one curious commenter asked. “Think it would be some other kind of hand then,” @Thatfrood pointed out.
Of course, what we’re all probably thinking one Twitter user was brave enough to ask: “How did it taste?” Read more from Delish.
