3-year-old girl dies after falling into septic tank at NJ campground in Cape May, at the southern tip of New Jersey.

Local cops responded to reports of an unresponsive toddler at the site in Cape May at the very southern tip of New Jersey around 9:30 p.m. Saturday, NJ.com reported.
They arrived to find the young girl had been pulled from the septic tank. She was taken to the hospital and later pronounced dead, cops said.
An investigation is under way.
The campground manager called the child’s death “a devastating accident.
“There was a tragic accident involving a child that occurred last night at our campground in Cape May, and first we wish to express our heartfelt condolences to the family as they face this incredibly difficult time,” said Andrew DeLong of Sun Outdoors Cape May. Read more from NY Post.
