Bowie and Iman moved to their SoHo/ Nolita residence after moving out of their Central Park apartment in 2002

Originally built in 1886 as the Hawley & Hoops chocolate factory, the nine story building on Lafayette Street was converted into a full-service condominium building with 30 units in the 1990s.

The four bedroom, three bathroom residence boast three outdoor terraces, direct elevator access, 11-foot ceilings, a library, a half bath, and an open kitchen. The interior was masterfully curated by one of Europe’s most renowned architect/designers.

The Master bedroom suite measures over 1,000 square feet featuring a fireplace, dressing room, oversized bath and private terrace.

According to the book ‘Forever Stardust: David Bowie Across the Universe,’ ‘Bowie loved living in SoHo/Nolita. He felt at home, semi-anonymous, among New Yorkers too cool to act star-struck at celebrity sightings.’

The property was left to Iman as part of his $100 million estate after the rocker’s 2016 passing following a long battle with cancer.  Read more from Daily Mail.
