Followup to Lady Gaga dogwalker shooting and dognapping

Lady Gaga said her “heart is sick” in an emotional social media post Friday over the kidnapping of her beloved French bulldogs and shooting of their walker in Los Angeles.

“My beloved dogs Koji and Gustav were taken in Hollywood two nights ago. My heart is sick and I am praying my family will be whole again with an act of kindness,” Gaga wrote on Instagram and Twitter alongside eight photos of the pups in happier times.

“I will pay $500,000 for their safe return. Email KojiandGustav@gmail.com to contact us. Or, if you bought or found them unknowingly, the reward is the same. I continue to love you Ryan Fischer, you risked your life to fight for our family. You’re forever a hero.”

On Wednesday just before 10 p.m., Gaga’s dog walker and friend Ryan Fischer took the crooner’s three Frenchies, Gustav, Koji and Miss Asia, out for a stroll while the star was in Italy, reportedly filming a new movie. Disturbing video shows shooting of Lady Gaga’s dog walker Ryan Fischerhttps://imasdk.googleapis.com/js/core/bridge3.444.1_en.html#goog_670784171Play Video

Two suspects in a white Nissan Altima ambushed Fischer, flashed a semi-automatic handgun and shot him in the chest when he refused to give up the pooches and tried to fight them off.

The Los Angeles Police Department has assigned the investigation to their elite Robbery and Homicide Division and released a description of the suspects

They’re described as two black males between the ages of 20 and 25 who were last seen in dark clothing. The gunman has blond dreadlocks, police said.

Detectives were canvassing the area for surveillance video of the suspect’s vehicle but it wasn’t clear if they found any by Friday afternoon.

Gaga’s father, Manhattan restaurateur Joe Germanotta, said Fischer is no longer in the ICU and he’s expected to make a full recovery.

His family released a statement Friday thanking the hospital for their care and Gaga for her support.

“Ryan loves Gustavo and Koji as much as Lady Gaga does; so we join in her plea for their safe return,” the statement, obtained by Rolling Stone, said. Read more fro NY Post
