Regis Philbin’s cause of death has been revealed.

The beloved TV host died from myocardial infarction, otherwise known as a heart attack, due to coronary artery disease and hypertension, a spokesperson for the Chief Medical Examiner’s Office in Farmington, Conn., confirmed to Page Six on Wednesday.
