Deputies: A Brooksville Walmart store was forced to delay its Black Friday opening after an explosion and fire in a group of tractor trailers in the rear of the store.

BROOKSVILLE, Fla. — A Brooksville Walmart store was forced to delay its Black Friday opening after an explosion and fire in a group of tractor trailers in the rear of the store.
According to the Hernando County Sheriff’s Office, Just after 5 a.m., a deputy already stationed in the parking lot of the Walmart located at 13300 Cortez Boulevard, heard an explosion at the western end of the store.
When the deputy reached the back of the store, he found one tractor trailer on fire. The deputy quickly checked the vehicles for occupants and was able to locate and safely remove the only occupant from one of the other two vehicles.
The flames quickly spread to the other semis.
Fire crews arrived a short time later and were able to bring the flames under control.
The store opened for Black Friday shoppers just before 8 a.m.
There were no injuries as a result of the explosion and fire.
