Airbnb and Nasdaq are teaming up to bring a couple of lucky New Yorkers a New Year’s Eve experience unlike any other.

“To honor the strength and resilience we’ve seen and felt around the world from New Yorkers, Airbnb and Nasdaq are offering locals the chance to call Times Square home for just one night under the New Year’s Eve Ball — a spectacular night all to themselves,” Airbnb shared in a statement

Guests lucky enough to book this extremely limited experience will have their own geodesic dome for the evening on Nasdaq’s outdoor terrace. The dome will offer gorgeous panoramic views of the city, along with an unobstructed vista of the sparkling crystal ball.

“With Times Square celebrations going virtual this year, guests will have a truly unique experience during the traditional confetti celebrations, right below the ball,” Airbnb said.

But Airbnb has one more major surprise in store.

To add to the experience, Airbnb has asked none other than Mariah Carey to act as host for the night. As part of the stay, guests will receive a virtual personal serenade from the one and only singer, a $5,000 shopping credit to use along NYC’s famous Fifth Avenue or at local Times Square shops before their stay, and a trunk full of sparkly New Year’s Eve hats, 2021 glasses, and horns for the countdown to midnight.

The stay also includes access to an indoor lounge for watching New Year’s celebrations around the world, dinner prepared by a private chef, and a sparkly piece of crystal from this year’s Waterford Crystal ball design to take home as a memento. Read more from Travel & Leisure.
