Could there really be six more years of Tom Brady in the NFL? The Buccaneers quarterback believes this is a possibility. In fact, he thinks it could be easy for him.

“Seems to be a really hot question lately: ‘Can Tom Brady play until 50?'” Brady said in response to teammate Rob Gronkowski on the Bucs’ new episode of Tommy & Gronk.

“I don’t find it so difficult. Plus, in Florida, it’s kind of a retiree state, so I feel like I can play and then just glide into retirement. I think I can play. I think it’s a yes.”

At 44, the seven-time Super Bowl champion and five-time Super Bowl MVP has stacked 20 seasons with the New England Patriots and now a second season with the Buccaneers on his resume. In March, Brady signed a contract extension with the Buccaneers that goes through the 2022 season.

Gronkowski says the real question is whether or not Brady’s wife Gisele Bündchen will let him play until he is 50 years old.

“That is a way better question,” Brady told Gronkowski. “I’m just kidding, I’m sorry, babe. I love you. You would let me. You would let me do anything, as long as I’m happy.” Read more from USA Today.
